X Rod Pod , Quattro Rod Pod ,Camo Quattro Rod Pod ,Trek Rod Pod , A Rod Pod , X plus Rod Pod ,Horizon Rod Pod and Stalker Rod Pod

This is the order I would place them or at least the top 3 anyway

  • My vote goes to Fox Stalker Rod Pod is one of the most flexible pods available, the new Stalker creates a rock solid set up that remains light and easy to carry. Fully adjustable body .Profiled aluminium body and buzz bars for increased stability .Top quality components used throughout

  • In 2nd position Fox X Rod Pod is designed for use with goalpost style buzzer bar set-ups for incredible stability. Four arms meet in the centre, around a boss, creating the characteristic X that gives the pod its name. Assembly is so quick that if you blink you’ll miss it, and when folded away the X-Pod becomes almost impossibly compact. Supplied with fixed height banksticks and a pair of 3 rod fixed goal post buzz bars .Anti twist locking sections .Supremely light, very stable and easy to transport

  • In 3rd position Fox Quattro Rod Pod has established itself as a ‘must have ‘ item for serious anglers. The secret lies in its versatility, offering a goal post style set-up alongside traditional pod benefits and a unique design that makes it so simple to assemble and fold down. This is the ultiamte pod system.lightweight powder coated aluminium construction.
Wide base and low centre of gravity make the quattro exceptionally stable.Locking Cams to allow the main body to be raised.Length of central body can be adjusted to accommodate 13ft rods and give greater stability.

Paling Fence Price

General April 22nd, 2009

Asking for a paling fence price in Melbourne is akin to asking how long is a piece of rope. There are too many variables to consider to give an accurate price without actually seeing the prospective fence site.

Sure, many a paling fence contractor in Melbourne will have a standard price per metre but that fence price will certainly rise if certain conditions exist. There are quite a few and I will cover some of them here for you to make your decision easier.

1. Easy Access To Site
Can the fencer access the site easily and by this I mean the location of the paling fence. There could be vines or creepers etc that cover a section of the fence. Obviously this will have to removed.

2. Immovable Objects Next To The Fenceline
There could be a structure like a small shed or a childs cubby house situated right on the fenceline. Most times this is not a problem if the fence palings are on that side of the fence. The paling fence contractor will consult with both neighbours to see if it is alright to put the palings on the other side. Another option is that the fencer will simply make up a section of the fence offsite and put it up onsite.

3. Length Of Fence
If the job you are needing is only a short distance some contractors will inflate the paling fence price. For example, some would quote $25/metre for over 50 mtrs of fence but $38/mtr for short distances. Be aware of this.

By reading this I hope you have an understanding of why there is a fair bit involved in getting a paling fence price. You are now armed with information that will help you make an informed choice when picking a paling fence contractor.

Time to reduce your cholesterol?

General April 22nd, 2009

High cholesterol is one of the risk factors for atherosclerosis along with smoking, overweight and having high blood pressure. High cholesterol has a definition that differs depending on your exact age.

High cholesterol is defined as a total cholesterol level higher than 5.2 mmol/L which is 200 mg/dL in American units. As you can see, even the doctors can’t agree on how to express the numbers.

There are two types of cholesterol in your blood – so-called good and bad. High cholesterol is called as a silent disease because there are frequently no visible symptoms – until something serious happens.

If high cholesterol is left untreated high colestrol can lead to serious complications, sometimes even death. That makes it very important to have your colestrol checked – properly – by your doctor. It won’t go away on its own. Before you think about taking medication you may want to consider lifestyle changes – they can be easy to make and can have dramatic results.

LDL is called the bad cholestrol and it has a higher fat-to-protein ratio than HDL – which is usually called the good cholesterol. Cholesterol from LDL is the main source of buildup and blockage in your arteries. So the more LDL cholesterol your blood contains the greater your risk of heart disease.

If you manage to lower your cholesterol levels it can slow, stop, or even reverse the buildup of plaque. It can also reduce your risk of a heart attack. It’s well worth learning all you can about high cholesterol foods.

As with anything medical, you should consult your physician for his advice before you consider making any changes, or taking any medications. General texts like this are not intended as a substitute for competent, professional medical advice.

A Peek At Some Career Options For Nurses

General April 22nd, 2009

The sixties was an exciting time to live. Careers were a lot different back them also. For example you did not really see men working as nurses. That has changed significantly in the past several years with more and more men going on to become a nurse. On the flip side, more and more women are becoming doctors. Now the majority of nurses are still likely women and the majority of doctors are still likely men, but who knows what the future holds.

Nowadays more and more folks are tired of their old jobs and want to change to a new career. Some of the most popular careers are those in healthcare and nursing. It seems like every week or so you read in the paper about how there is a nursing shortage. As a result a lot of people are likely trying to job on board. Who knows when it will flip to there no longer being a shortage of nurses due the aging population in general.

People who do not plan on going to college for years and would like to start working sooner rather then later may want to become an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). If they later decide to advance their career they could consider taking an online lpn to bsn program. After that they may even consider an MSN program.

RNs who finished a nursing program and then later decided to return to school to advance their career will have some options also. One option would be to complete an RN to BSN online program. That would likely give them the chance to move into a management position someday.

The thing to remember is folks in the healthcare field have many different career options available to them. Since no one knows for sure when the shortage of nurses will subside, they likely have many years to come of good job security.

DVD Duplication A Growing Trend

General April 22nd, 2009

Going paperless is the in thing today in many industries. Many companies have opted to go digital in terms of storing important data pertaining to their businesses such as keeping employees files, accounting, billing to issuing copies of reports to management, shareholders and clients. This is one of the reasons why autoloader DVD duplicator has become a popular trend among numerous organizations

DVD duplication is the process of transferring data and audio or what is commonly known as burning from various sources onto a DVD recordable disc. The process is similar with CD duplication.

The main difference between the CD and DVD is in the amount of data they store. While a CD can hold about 650 megabytes of information and about 75 minutes of music, a DVD can store more by as much as 4.7 gigabytes or seven times more than the CDs storage capacity. You may have noticed that a single movie or even multiple movies can be stored in only one DVD but with the CD, a regular length movie usually requires two CDs. As for music, a DVD can store up to eight hours of music on each side.

The DVDs big storage capacity can be attributed to its smaller bumps and closer tracks. Data stored can either be static or dynamic.

Additionally, the Blu-ray disc (BD) is another medium for storing data and notably high-definition video. It uses a red laser and has a greater storage space than the DVD due to its shorter wavelength. Up to 50 gigabytes of information can be stored in a dual layer Blu-ray disc which is six times that of a dual layer DVDs capacity.

The trend

For companies keeping up with the latest technology, gone are the days of distributing paper copies of financial reports and keeping VHS tapes of their special events. These days, corporations make video productions of their presentations and provide DVD copies to clients, business partners and sales staff.

For this reason, both robotic dvd duplicator have become very popular particularly in the corporate world. Apart from the high demand from companies and the affordability of the duplication process, several other factors contribute to this growing trend including the prices of DVD media and equipment which have become very competitive in recent years. These, in turn, enables event videographers to add duplication services to their existing videography business to serve corporations that need a high volume of DVD copies for distribution to management executives, stockholders and clients. Besides DVD, some duplicators also accommodate VHS and CD duplication as well as replication. Some also offer both duplicating services and products for their clients convenience.

CD DVD duplicator can be done in-house if the company has the necessary equipment or outsourced to a third party duplicator. With an in-house duplication, a company has control over the video production. The only downside is that it has to invest in the duplication equipment which could be quite costly.

The future

Many experts in this field believe theres truly a bright future for DVD duplication and videographers. Proof of this is the mushrooming of copy shops despite the stiff competition with photocopiers and printers.

The duplicating equipment should not be a problem as no shortage is expected. Tower duplicators and standalone printers are in sufficient supply. In fact, there are companies, too, that provide complete solutions such as the robotic arms that can do the duplication and printing at the same time of up to 600 discs in an automated manner.
