The local events may be another thing to look into.  Check the local papers and find out how much activity is going on in that town or city.  If you are going on vacation for the whole summer it may get boring at times, so try to get familiar with the activities in your area.  I know in Vai, CO there are weekly events that are lots of fun, and typically they are free too!  I have also seen lots of Vail Vacation Homes that will have lots of information waiting for you when you arrive.  It is good to do the research, becasue lots of times the best activities are anly known by the locals, which brings me to the next point. Meet some locals so they can give you the best tips on what to do and where to eat.  They are always the best resource.

Solar distillation: Solar distillation is about the same as flat plate collectors but provides distilled water instead of heat.

Solar energy is non-polluting, and its availability does not depend on supply, demand, or market pricing; it is always free. It is natural and pure. It would provide us with better health. If we all pitch in and work as a team, there are several options we could use to help conserve both our natural and renewable resources.

Solar power is very beneficial, and can also inspire others to use it as well. The cost of solar energy is less than using gas, electricity, or other types of resources for heat. When you use electricity and gas you may have a low cost up front but in the end you end up paying for it from now on. With solar power you may have an initial investment to turning your home into solar power but after that you have no reason to pay for it any further, unless you use electric or gas for a back up heating source. Solar power has been availabile in the past, is available now, and barring disaster, should be available for a very long time to come.
