Blitz Defence is a book that is packed with down to earth, “lets get the job done” wisdom. Author Keith R. Kernspecht has provided a practical book expressing his years of personal combat experience and immense research. Although the use of the “Blitz Defence” program from the Wing Tsun fighting system is at the core of this book, the value of understanding how conflict can surface within a seemingly docile situation is invaluable.

Coverage of the authors research regarding the techniques utilised by would be attackers, cowardice vs heroism and the danger codes makes this book a must read for anyone who is serious about real self defence ability. Pictures of various international elite units being taught the Blitz Defence program attest to the quality of the subject matter. These units include SEK and GSG9 (Germany), RAID (France), NOCS (Italy) and the FBI Hostage Rescue Teams (USA).

The genius integration of psychology and application of well illustrated techniques within this book are truly awe inspiring. This book is an eye opener to the dangers of the real world and what it takes to be confidently capable therein. Sifu Kevin Stewart
