After weeks or months of working five days a week, I get to the point where I’d really like to find some warm weather by a pool or the beach and just park myself. The city includes a long peninsula with dozens of beachfront hotels. The weather can actually be too hot in the middle of summer.

There are a bunch of other resort cities in Mexico besides Cancun. Take a look at other places such as Anguilla and Antigua. But research carefully your intended destination, not only to ensure a safe and trouble-free trip but also to learn about the area (culture, history, interesting attractions, etc.) to make the trip more fun.
